When we wrote about our amazing journey at Book+Street a year ago (see Zero to Sixty), we had just rounded the corner on our first 60 clients and since then, it certainly has been one wild ride! Fast forward one year and the Midwest startup scene is showing no signs of stopping, COVID be damned. So, we’ve got the pedal to the floor and are excited to share some of our adventures along the way. Get in and hold on!
We launched a talent solutions service team to support Midwest startups. Helping with the hiring crunch, building teams, tackling benefits, penning policies, and handling all those tough HR questions. The Talent Solutions Team is here to help your team grow!
We’ve grown the team to 13, and I couldn’t be prouder of this amazing group of professionals. Getting up close and personal with the whole back office, from strategic financial modeling and forecasting to bookkeeping and payroll, we’re helping startups in Columbus and beyond rapidly scale.
Our client count is rounding the corner on 100! Although you probably know about our strategic finance and tactical accounting services for startups, we have 8 clients we currently support with our Talent Solutions offering and 4 clients that we support with Fund Administration. As our community grows, we’ve enhanced our service offering to meet the growing needs of our Midwest ecosystem.
It’s clear that the startup scene in Columbus and the Midwest is booming and that our clients value what we bring to the table as nearly every one is a referral. We appreciate our clients and love to see them succeed, lap after lap. We can’t wait to see what is in store over the next twelve months. It’s going to be a wild ride!
